SKIN NEEDLING

Skin needling, also known as microneedling or collagen induction therapy, is an advanced skin rejuvenation treatment designed to stimulate your skin’s natural healing response. Using a device fitted with fine sterile needles, controlled micro-channels are created in the skin to encourage collagen and elastin production.

The result is smoother, firmer, and healthier-looking skin with improved texture and overall skin quality.

How Does It Work?

After a thorough consultation, your skin will be cleansed and prepared. A medical-grade microneedling device is then used to create precise micro-channels within the skin.

These controlled micro-injuries stimulate the skin’s natural repair process, encouraging the production of new collagen and elastin. Depending on your skin concerns, customised serums may also be applied during treatment to enhance results.

What can Skin needling help with?

Microneedling may assist with:

  • Acne scarring

  • Enlarged pores

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Uneven skin texture

  • Pigmentation concerns

  • Sun damage

  • Stretch marks

  • Skin laxity

  • Dull or tired-looking skin

  • Overall skin rejuvenation

What to expect during treatment

A topical numbing cream may be applied prior to treatment to maximise comfort. Most clients describe the procedure as tolerable, with sensations varying depending on the treatment area.

Treatment typically takes between 45–60 minutes, including preparation time.

What to expect after

Immediately following treatment, the skin may appear red and feel warm, similar to a mild sunburn. Mild swelling, dryness, tightness, or sensitivity can occur for several days.

Most redness settles within 24–72 hours, although recovery time can vary depending on treatment intensity and individual skin response.

Is Skin Needling right for me?

Microneedling is suitable for many skin types and concerns, but a consultation is recommended to determine whether it is the right treatment for your skin goals.
